Walking Basslines 101

Walking Bass 101 is a structured program designed for bass players who already play but want to develop real walking bass lines.

Most players learn scales, chords, and theory—but still struggle to apply it. This course focuses on how to use that material in a musical context.

You’ll learn how to move through a jazz blues, outline harmony using chord tones, and build lines that feel connected and intentional. Each concept is introduced and immediately applied, so you’re not just learning information—you’re using it.

The course begins with the role of the bass in jazz and the structure of a blues, then moves into building walking bass lines step by step. From there, you’ll expand your note choices, develop line shape, and apply everything across multiple keys.

By the end, you’ll be able to walk a blues with clarity, control, and time feel—without guessing.
